Do the studios have a standard setup?+
Yes, although the photos are for illustration purposes only. The setups shown can be assembled in any studio, according to your request and availability at the time of booking.
What is the minimum booking duration?+
1 hour. 2 hours with a discount. For sessions of 3 hours or more, advance payment is required, arranged via WhatsApp. Ban Pass Resident holders can book longer sessions without hassle, but reserved hours will be deducted if you do not show up.
Does the Ban Pass expire?+
No. The hours never expire. Buy once and use at your own pace, with no deadline pressure.
What happens if I don't show up?+
If you don't cancel at least 3 hours in advance, the time slot is deducted from your Ban Pass as normal. For single-session bookings, you won't be able to reschedule without advance payment.
Can I choose a specific studio?+
Yes. It's an add-on of R$ 100 per session. Without the add-on, we assign the best available studio for your chosen setup.
Can I bring guests?+
Single sessions: R$ 50 per additional person in the studio. Ban Pass holders: 1 guest included per session at no cost. Extra guests are R$ 50 each, regardless of whether they're a DJ, student or just visiting.
Do add-ons (RMX, Revolo, LED) need to be booked in advance?+
Yes. RMX-1000, RMX-Ignite, Revolo (Teile 2) and Isolator (Teile 3), along with some other add-ons, require advance booking at least 5 hours ahead. Contact our team on WhatsApp to confirm availability.
Do you have setups other than Pioneer DJ?+
At DJ Ban EMC, Pioneer DJ/AlphaTheta setups are our main offering. We also have partnerships with other brands, including Rane and Allen & Heath. Contact our team to find out more.
Do I need to know how to DJ to rent a studio?+
We have been renting studios to DJs since 2001. It is recommended that you know how to play to make the most of all the equipment. If you're a beginner, you can book single coaching hours to learn. If you want to practice on your own, you're welcome to rent the studio as well.
Can I record my set in audio?+
Yes. Audio recording is included in every session at no extra cost. Note that when booking 1 hour, your recording can be up to 50 minutes long. For 2 hours, up to 1 hour and 50 minutes. The remaining 10 minutes are used to save and transfer the file to your pen drive without delaying the next client. If you want a full video set (audio and video together), we offer that service too.
